Enrollment

Port Gardner K-12 School is a Choice Program with a blend of on-site classes taught by certificated teachers, and remote classes taught by parents/guardians in the home. Port Gardner accepts new students at the beginning of the school year and at the semester.  

The first step for new families is to contact us by filling out the below Port Gardner Interest Form for the 26-27 school year or calling 425-385-5150.

First Semester Enrollment:

• Grades K-8^th    Open Enrollment
• Grades 9-12^th   One semester of documented successful homeschool experience teaching a student age 8 or above or parent is a certificated teacher. 

Second Semester Enrollment:

• Grades K-2^nd    Open Enrollment
• Grades 3-12^th  One semester of documented successful homeschool experience teaching a student age 8 or above or parent is a certificated teacher.

Due to required Parent Training Classes, enrollment paperwork must be received and approved no later than one week prior to the start date of each semester.  To register you can visit the district website Enrollment Page or click the Online Registration Link below and follow the instructions to register online or download an Enrollment Form, complete it and bring it to our office.

Kindergarten Enrollment: 

Give us a call at 425-385-5150 to RSVP for a Getting Ready for Kindergarten Tour, May 4th, 9:30-10:30 

 

Port Gardner offers you an option with some ​classes taught by parents/guardians in the home ​and some classes taught by certificated teachers onsite.

Our onsite classes are limited to 15 students and meet twice per week in the morning for 2 hours each. Small class sizes get kindergartners off to a great start ​both academically and socially. Kindergartners will gain classroom experience, make friends, and have excellent academic opportunities in beginning reading, writing, art, and science.

• We work as partners by providing training, ​curriculum, and ongoing support for home educators.​
• Students and their families are part of a thriving ​school community.​

• Our Deadline for enrollment paperwork is Friday, August 14^th.

New Family Training:

When your enrollment is approved, you will be required to attend a series of training classes. These classes are designed to help you get off to a successful start in our program and as a parent educator.
